The oil extracted from them has a pleasant aroma and valuable ingredients for the skin, which is why it is often used in the cosmetics industry. Are macadamia nuts healthy? They contain beneficial micronutrients (calcium, phosphorus, iron, magnesium, zinc, potassium) and vitamins (vitamins A, E, and B). This helps maintain healthy skin, hair, and nails. They are characterized by their high protein, fiber, and carbohydrate content. Up to 70% of all nutrients are fats. These are mainly monounsaturated fatty acids (so-called "good fats"): oleic acid, palmitoleic acid, and icosine acid, which help maintain normal cholesterol levels. Because of their presence, macadamia nuts should be present in our diet. According to the recommendations of the World Health Organization, the energy we get from food should come from so-called "good fats." It is important to use macadamia nuts sparingly as a substitute for other products.
