Medverita Vitamin K2 + D3 for Children 30ml

Medverita Vitamin K2 + D3 Dietary Supplement for Children 30ml is a product that contains Vitamin K2&Olive™, Vitamin D3 from lanolin obtained from the wool of Australian sheep, and Vitamin E Quali®-E in liquid form. MCT oil, i.e., medium-chain fatty acids derived from coconut oil, provide the right environment for the best possible absorption of the fat-soluble compounds of vitamins K2, D3, and E. Thanks to the use of a dosing pump, the form of administration is extremely convenient for children.

Vitamin K2, or menaquinone-7, plays a very important role in the body. Vitamin K is involved in the blood clotting process. Specifically, menaquinone is involved in the production of prothrombin, the blood clotting factor II, which is synthesized in the liver. A vitamin K deficiency is primarily noticeable through frequent or prolonged bleeding. Furthermore, it has an influence on maintaining bone health. This is due to the involvement of menaquinone in the metabolism of the skeletal system. In this case, its role overlaps with that of vitamin D3, and their simultaneous intake enhances their mutual effect.

The natural vitamin K contained in the product comes from K2&Olive™. It was obtained using a strain of Bacillus subtilis natto bacteria. This strain is responsible for fermenting soybeans in the traditional Japanese dish natto.

Vitamin D3, or cholecalciferol, is naturally synthesized in the skin when it is exposed to sunlight. In temperate climate zones, solar radiation is relatively low, so a deficiency of this substance in the body is not uncommon.

Cholecalciferol is responsible for the development of bones and teeth in children [Art. 14]. It also ensures their condition in later years. This is possible because vitamin D3 is responsible for the absorption in the intestines and the proper utilization of macronutrients such as calcium and phosphorus, i.e., their incorporation into the skeleton [ID 152]. The absorbed calcium is an essential factor for normal muscle contraction, so cholecalciferol indirectly contributes to maintaining the proper function of the entire musculoskeletal system [ID 155].

This compound also strengthens the body's immune system. It has a positive influence on the normal course of the inflammatory response. Furthermore, it is involved in cell divisions in the body [ID 153].

Vitamin E Quali®-E is an organic chemical compound composed of various tocopherols and tocotrienols. Natural D-alpha-tocopherol is used for the formulation. Vitamin E is an excellent antioxidant, i.e., a scavenger of free oxygen radicals that cause damage to DNA, proteins, and lipids in cells through oxidative stress.

In summary, Medverita Vitamin K2 + D3 for Children 30ml is a product with which we can supplement children's diet with fat-soluble vitamins in a simple and cost-effective way. Vitamins D, E, and K are responsible for strengthening bones and teeth, support the immune system, and ensure good blood clotting.
