The formula is based on herbal extracts and proteins, and the ammonia has been replaced with rosemary, quinine, and walnut shells to gently release the colorant. Thanks to the significantly reduced chemical ingredients, Herbatint is suitable for allergy sufferers and those who are particularly concerned about the safety and well-being of their hair.

The 3 golden rules of color selection:

• The colors tend to be darker than shown in the palette, especially on fine hair. So it's a good idea to start with a lighter shade (because you can always darken it later).
• The lightening colors are 8N, 9N, 10N, and FF5. These colors lighten the hair by a maximum of 2-3 tones compared to natural hair.
• All colors in the palette cover up to 30% of gray hair. If more than 30% is covered, colors 1N to 8N cover the gray hair alone. The rest should be mixed with one of the colors 1N to 8N.
